    Project Inspire, Beacons North County - Carlsbad, CA (July 2022 & November 2022)

    Onsite Service Technician I

    I completed site maintenance duties such as, picked up trash, wipe down tables and chairs, empty trash and recycling, wash dishes, and swept and mopped floors.

    Freelance Photographer (June 2017 to present)

    I take photos for social parties, local bands, and nonprofits. (The band “Maniac” featured my photo on its CD cover for San Diego’s annual “Battle of the Bands” ). I also volunteered as an event photographer for Beacons, Inc. (Carlsbad) and helped the nonprofit take photos for a parking study it needed for the City of Carlsbad. Sample clients include: Beacons, Inc., Maniac (Rock Band), and families.

     

    Petco - Carlsbad, CA (August 2016 - June 2017)

    Stocking, Store care (Workability Program)

    I worked at my local Petco store to make sure products were neatly arranged with labels facing outward for client viewing. I also answered questions of incoming clients and redirected them to the manager or another employee when needed.
     

    Crust Pizzeria Restaurant - Carlsbad, CA (August 2015 - June 2016)

    Busser/Host Trainee

    Gained work experience by helping the restaurant prepare for its daily opening by taking down chairs, cleaning tables, setting tables, rolling silverware, making pizza boxes, and greeting and seating lunch customers.  

     

    La Costa Canyon High School - Carlsbad, CA (2015-2016, 2016-2017 school years)

    Runner/Cashier Trainee (Workability Program)

    Worked for two years during high school in the school’s cafeteria. Part of my responsibilities were to make sure all carts and heated bins were stocked, support cashiers by getting food to meet orders of students, greet customers and take orders using the school’s cash register, and transact purchases (with adult supervision).  I was invited back a 3rd yet, but worked at Petco instead. 

     

    Kohl’s Department Store - Encinitas, CA (2015-2016)

    Sales Associate Trainee (Workability Program)

    Worked with a job coach to make sure sizes were organized, mostly in the shoe, bedding and clothing departments. Greeted and assisted customers (help direct them to store areas).
